hey guys,

i using use the rmx with vdj pro latest version. ive already put my "favorite" effects on the designated six buttons (and one to the source-button), of the rmx. how can you expand the whole thing? -> say: more deposit effect somehow ... can you possibly make a button multiple-functional? or are there any "shift function" as analogous to reasonably calculators?

or is it possible to connect the rmx to a effect controller (for example akai mpd series -> http://www.akaipro.com/mpk) to external input and fire effects of this then? should this be possible, then the mpd probably next a channel completely -> crap again ...

well... gimme some input
best regards

http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/vdjscript%20examples.html

first example at the top (use a combination of buttons to trigger two different actions (i.e: shift button) )

you can use multiple midi controllers in virtual dj , so for example, the rmx for most functions, and the akai for controlling fx.

hey dj phatso,

thanx for your link concerning the combination of buttons to trigger two different actions while using vdj pro and the rmx. up to now i dindnt try it -> but soon 😉

furthermore i think about buying an mpd 24 to give more effects to my mix while mixing with the rmx. i already searched on google/youtube but actually i didn found some really basic stuff how to use the mpd24 as an effect controller.

what can i do with the mpd 24 without using a software like fx, reason or cubase?
can i also use the software rebirth from propellerheads or is this something completly different?
if i use a software, is ist possible to record some patterns during my mix. if yes, can i modulate it with some effekts while mixing?
i would be great if youve some links for me that explain the basics related to the mpd 24 as a effect-controller (not as a drumpad... if you know what i mean..?!?)

thanxx
