You should try to make power management on the USB ports, they might cut off the power:

- Open the Device Manager: in order to open it click Start/Run and enter the following command: devmgmt.msc
- Click the <+> sign to the left of Universal Serial Bus controllers. - Double-click USB Root Hub and select the Power Management tab.
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
- Validate your choice by clicking OK.

After, try and install the latest drivers from ts.hercules.com

And the latest software form Virtual DJ website: www.virtualdj.com

You need to create an account there and register the serial number in order to get the exact version of software that comes with the console.

Also, try: another USB cable, if you have the power cord of the desktop/ laptop in the same power extender as other devices, try to plug it in a differnet power socket. If you are using a laptop, try to take out the power adapter and check if you have the same sound issue.

If you still have issues with it, try to contact the technical support too.
