i have a hercules 4mx. it was working fine with my sony vaio (windows 8.1 pro, 64 bit).
i was trying to use it with another laptop (hp, windows 8.1, 64 bit) but there were issues with the usb 3.0.
then it try to do a firmware update which failed. i disconnected it and connected it to de sony vaio but nothing happened.
now its not working at all. even on the sony nothing happens. when i connect it the on/off button lights up for a few seconds and thats it. when i try to call up the firmupdater by pressing the on/off button (or load left deck & load right deck) nothing happens.
it seems is dead 🙁
is it possible to do a firmware update another way ? ....or do you have a another solution for me ?
i have the latest software update (2014_hdjs_1). i did this update in march and the firmware was also updated.
everything went ok then.
