good day,i was having my set while in a club as a guest dj but their sound system volume was a litttle low for my standards even if all volumes on their mixer(external) are way up already,i tried to compensate using the gain on each channel of my 4mx, then i had an "audio drop" the whole thing just "freeze and stopped"i am connected via rca to an behringer external mixer.any idea whats wrong?my laptop performance was ok prior to that incident..no other process working in the background, wifi off, antivirus off etc, power setting at maximum performance,in other words the laptop setting is already optimized (i core 3 at 2.13 ghz, 4gb ddr 3, 64 bit os win 7)is it the power being sucked out of the usb port by the 4mx when i turned the gain at 3 o clock that caused this problem? i am using vdj 7 pro.
Yeah, it might be that, so you can try doing a power management on the USB ports. Like go in Device manager and click on the arrow in front of Universal Serial Bus controllers, after double click on the first USB root hub and go to power management tab and uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Do this for all your USB root hubs, after restart the computer.
Make sure while you do the above steps no to have the console or printer or any other devices beside the keyboard and mouse attached to the USBs.
Also, install the latest drivers from ts.hercules.com cause they have released new drivers a couple of days ago.
Hope this helps!
