activation of hercules rmx in vdj pro 5

hi all,

i recently purchased the hercules rmx console to use with my virtual dj pro 5 (which i had purchased separately).  i connect the equipment and go into configuration settings but when i click activate on the rmx device it does not seem to activate (none of the blue lights come on).  is there another setting that i am missing?  i then tested it with the djc version that came with the rmx and it works fine.  any ideas how i can get it to work with my original software?

What revision of VirtualDJ Pro 5 have you got. Currently it's at 5.2.1

If your version is less than 5rev7 then the RMX will not work. You will need 5rev7 and above for the controller to work with VirtualDJ

If you have a licensed copy of VirtualDJ, I suggest go and download the latest version (5.2.1) from your download centre and the VirtaulDJ site.
