hey guys,
brand new to djing. bought a rmx 2 but virtual dj 8 wont let me use the keycode because the previous owner has used it already.
any thoughts on what i should do? is there a better software out there? (traktor 2 etc?)

To use VDJ 8
If the previous owner can give you his VDJ account, you can use it and use VDJ 8 LE.
You can also contact Hercules Technical Support here on by phone (866 889 2181).
Other DJ software
Many software work well with Rmx2.
- Djuced 40 : detecting the Rmx2 unlocks Djuced 40 (you should download last version of Djuced 40, 3.1.3, it is much more powerful than the version on Rmx2 installation CD).
- Traktor Pro 2 (the map is included in the software)
- Cross DJ (Rmx2 map included in the software)
and others (but you should fill your computer and operating system description in your profile to get a list of compatible DJ software).

You have 3 fields to list your equipment:
- In "Hercules equipment in use", please check your Dj controller,
- In "Software in use", check your DJ software,
- In "Describe your equipment": describe your computer brand and model, CPU, quantity of RAM, version of Windows or Mac OS, version of DJConsole Series driver package, version of DJ software.
