hi guys, i just got my hercules dj4set but my cd-rom doesnt function, so what i did was i downloaded the necessary drivers and it went fine, my problem is the virtual dj .. the one i was using was a cracked version ..(i dont remember how the hell i got it ..) it cant detect the asio soundcard, so what i did was i uninstalled it and got a home version thinking that i could upgrade it to pro with the serial number i have on the back of the hercules, unfortunately not .. can anyone then help me by giving a link of a vdj pro le for the hercules 4set ? and also any comments or tips regarding to what i did .. thankyou !
First, please do not use CAPS when posting on forums. It gives the impression to everyone that you are shouting.
The version on VDJ included with the 4-Mx is not VDJ PRO but VDJ LE, designed to work only with the 4-Mx.
To get the software, go to the Virtual DJ website, create an account and enter the serial number. It will then be possible to download the latest installer file for Virtual DJ LE.
And you may want to uninstall all previous versions of VDJ from your system before proceeding.
Oops! Sorry .. anyway thank you .. Will something change because I installed it this way or will the gear and software work like the are supposed to ?
What you will download will be an updated version of what you have on the CD, namely with a few bugs that were corrected following the initial release.
The same can be said about the drivers which you'll find on the Hercules Support site:

Thank you all works fine now, only that whenever I try to use it with the stereomix it doesn't work .. how come ? what can I do ?
Can you be a little more precise about what you are doing and what doesn't work ?
Well, I Dj for an online radio station .. I use my stereomix to let them hear the songs I play, the problem is, i can't get the console and stereomix to work together. What should I do ?
When you say stereomix, your are talking about another soundcard, thought which you normally do your show ?
I'm guessing your microphone is connected to that card ?
If the card also includes a LINE Input, the simplest thing would be to connect the output of the 4-Mx to the LINE input of that soundcard, and then enable both the microphone and Line input to have all your sources summed up to the stereomix.
Again, if you can provide more details about your setup, it will be easier to help you do what you want.
I use Realtek audio as my soundcard .. It lets my listeners hear my mic and my tunes .. i use it as Primary registration device on my computer .. Sadly it doesn't include a Line input.. it has only mic and stereomix as devices ..
