cant open latest version djuiced for the air controller,help

i purchased an air controller last week,loaded everything using latest updates and it worked ok for a week.
i used it a couple of days ago,it all loaded up ok.then i switched it all off,reloded later in the day and i got a message the shortcut had been moved or not functional and i couldnt open djuiced.
i reinstalled all drivers and software using latest updates,still to no effect.
i got it working by not using the latest update for djuiced.
any one got any ideas why the latest version of djuiced has stopped working.

Are you using a PC or a MAC ?

What exactly happened once you installed the latest version and you tried to launch it ?

Did you get a specific error message ?

Was you console connected or not to the computer at the time ?

Im using a pc
When i first installed the software from disk,i loaded latest versions option (Djuced 18) and all worked well for a week. Tried to open Djuced 18 the following week end and nothing happened.I tried deinstalling and reinstalling again nothing happened.
I got an error report stating Djuced had closed down for unknown reason,so i tried to run a solution scan but it found nothing.After messing about for a night finally decided to deinstal Djuced 18 and just loaded the standard version on the disk supplied and it works although its very tempramental.It definatly dont like it if i attemp to scratch a trak.
I tried loading with the console connected,without connected the same when installing.
My pc is running on Vista .

I would suggest reinstalling the latest update.

If ever you run into this situation again,

- Copy the DJUCED.db file located in Documents > DJUCED 18 folder.

- Delete the DJUCED 18 folder

- Upon lauching DJUCED, a new folder will be created.

- Simply copy the database file into the folder.
