weird....
i bought the rmx, installed vdj and the console version offered a 20-day pro version trial. i activaded and now the 20 days have passed. when i click the more button on the rmx defult skin, the setting page comes up actully but with only on tab on it, saying advanced options. in the tab there is a button to upgrade to the pro an ok and a cancel button.
how can i restore my settings window back to normal?
ive already re-instaled 2 times....
there are no setting page with the djc edition version of virtual dj included with the rmx since it is pre-configured.
these settings are only available with the pro version.

ive payed for it and i cant event set it the way i like? 
now its my fault if i download the pro version illegaly!
the huge problem now is that the faders and crossfader dont work...
the move in the software but have no effect...
what to do now?

which will bring you even more problems.
though this is a vdj-centric forum, i would recommend that in light of your frustration, that you give an evaluation of traktor pro a spin if nothing but to expand your options.

i use this in conjuction with my rmx and it works extremely well. i especially enjoy re-mapping the rmx to suit my workflow. traktor makes this easy to accomplish as it has a midi learn function. i use this plus the midi cc map that is found in the hercules documentation to set everything up.
i thought i would mention this to you since vdj and traktor pro are comparable in price and it appears that an upgrade is in your future.

in you the faders seem useless, can you check if you have not reversed in virtualdj pro, in the sound setup pannel, the output channels?
if it is your issue, you should hear your mix fitting with the position of the fader in your headphones.

i want to swich from vdj to tractor. can i find the... mapping thing or how you call it ready?

the midi preset files to use the rmx in traktor can be downloaded on http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=2&fid=28&pid=215&cid=5 .
each zip files includes both:
- a preset file (.tks for traktor dj studio 2.5 or 3, .tsi for traktor pro)
- a .pdf file explaining the presets in traktor.
