hi,
this is my first post here, im a bit confused and looking for some advice to do with the hecules steel.
i currenty own a hercules rmx which i am very happy with.
however over the next few days i am purchasing some studio monitirs which comes bundled with a usb audio interface.

as this will now become my main sound card i wont require the one contained in the rmx and so i will be looking to replace the rmx with a steel. hopefully saving me some money at the same time.
my question is will the steel work with this audio interface? it uses a usb connection. so am i right in thinking the steel will plug in to my computer via usb and then the sound will go from my computer via usb to the audio interface and then onto my monitors?
i apologise if this sounds like a stupid question, i just dont want to make an expensive mistake and purchase the wrong thing.

Hello,
Yes, the Steel will work with your audio Interface Saffire 6 USB.
You will connect:
- DJ Control Steel to the computer via 1 USB port
- Saffire 6 USB to the computer via another USB port
- and speakers, headphones and microphone (if any) to the Saffire audio plugs.
So you will need 2 USB ports on you computer (or on a USB hub with a dedicated power adapter).
