Hello,

To get the highest output level on DeeJay TRIM, you must use the 1/4" jack outputs, as their level is higher than the RCA outputs.

PS: An output level is not related to the sound quality, it is just the output level. You can have a high sound quality with a low output level as you can have a poor sound quality with a high output level, as the output level just depends on the pre-amplifier placed after the DAC, the output level doesn't depend on the quality of the DAC.

really appreciate the reply! i just tested it out and the 1/4 inch does produce better responses than RCA but there is only one channel i can use for 1/4 inch inputs. i tried using a splitter and both channels on my mixer was playing the same deck.

Hello,

Each 1/4" jack output on the rear panel is a mono output, so to play a stereo signal, you need to connect the 2 outputs, the 2 units of 1/4" jack plug.
If your target speakers have RCA inputs, you need a cable with 2 x 1/4" jack mono plugs on one side, 2 x RCA plugs on the other side, as this one.

thats the exact cable im using. i need to use 2 channels on my mixer to mix music as a DJ. using that cable you just showed me only makes one channel active (using the 1/4 inch jack output to TRIM and RCA to Line 1 on my mixer)

Hello,

So you mean that if you connect
- 1 cable on DeeJay TRIM 1/4" output 1 (this cable has an RCA output we will call cable output 1)
- 1 cable on DeeJay TRIM 1/4" output 2 (this cable has an RCA output we will call cable output 2)
you don't get a sound on cable output 2?

i wish i was able to connect 4 quarter inch cables in the Trim box but unfortunatley Deejay trim only has 2 quarter inch slots that i can only use for a single channel on my mixer.

I also tried taking 1 1/4 to Trim and the other side is RCA to my Mixer Line 1 (red colored) input
than taking the other 1/4 to trim and the other side RCA to my mixer line 2 (red colored) input and i played a track on my left deck on Virtual DJ and both channels of my mixer was playing  the left deck of VDJ.

i am using Trim to Virtual DJ using a behringer NOX606 mixer i just want to simply use my left deck on virtual dj through Trim to my Line 1 input on my Behringer mixer. and right deck on VDJ through Trim to my Line 2 on my behringer with a good sound volume level

Hello,

I had not realized you connected the outputs of the your sound card to this mixer:
- NOX606 mixer has a gain knob per channel, so you can adjust the level of each input per channel on the mixer gain knob,
- if you use this mixer, then you play 2 stereo outputs on DeeJay TRIM (output 1-2 and output 3-4) while you preview in NOX606 mixer, so if you want a stronger output level for channel 3-4, then you can connect DeeJay TRIM headphones out to the mixer (and set the DeeJay TRIM headphone output as channel 3-4) with a cable like this one here.
