hello guys,

i have a problem lately with my dj console 4-mx. i use win7 and from nowhere, the device isnt recognized and is disabled. the icon on the taskbar has a red "x". i unistalled and installed the drivers for 1000 times... in device manager says that "the device cannot start (code 10)". ive never had this problem untill now.
ive google it, and still no answers, maybe i didn search in the right places, but maybe here i can find an answer for this problem.
ive made some updates in windows, can that be the problem ?
i hope you can help me people.

peace !

Which of the 4-Mx components (Bulk, ASIO or MIDI) displays the problem in Device manager ?

Have you tried connecting the console to another USB port and/or using another cable?

All three of them (bulk, ASIO and MIDI). I've tried several USB ports, and still the same problem. What i didn't tried, is another cable. I made the troubleshooting, and nothing.
But you know what is strange... i put the console on my laptop, and the same problem like on my PC.
Can be the cable's fault ? I mean, on my laptop displays the same messages like on my PC, that the drivers cannot be installed. And the device cannot start. I'll try with another cable to see if the problem disappear.

back to you soon.

Done. I've tried with another USB cable, and it seems that the cable is fine. It still doesn't want to work... i don't know what else can I do... i want to put you some screenshots but for some reason, it doesen't work so i'll put the links from imageshack if that's ok.

If the problem is reproducable on another computer, there may be a problem with the unit itself.

Try connecting the 4-Mx to the computer while holding down Load on Left Deck and Load on Right deck.

Do not release the buttons until the Stop, Cue and Play button lit up on both decks. At this point, the fimrware updater should appear on screen. Follow the instructions to proceed.

Let see if this helps bring back the console to life.
