in realtion to the forthcoming release of the 4-mx dj console, does anybody know if this unit can be mounted into a standard 19" flight case using the mounting brackets that you can buy for the rmx unit??
i had read somewhere that the unit is 50mm wider than the rmx which makes me think that the rmx rack mount kit wont be suitable??
i have just bought new flight cases for the rmx and laptop etc, so if i change to the 4-mx i need advice on what mounting kit will be required?
if anyone has a heads up on this would be grealty appreciated!

the rack mounting kit for a dj console 4-mx cannot be the same as the dj console rmx rack mounting kit since, as 4-mx is 5cm larger than rmx, a rack mounting kit for the 4-mx should be 5cm shorter.
dj console 4-mx has screw holes on left and right sides to be fixed in 19" racks.
hercules has not decided for the moment to propose a dedicated rack mounting kit.
what is your model of flight case?
i have the odyssey laptop case 19". its a fzgs10 glide. with the 4-mx console being approximately 2" wider than the rmx, hercules will need to to provide smaller rack mounts. hope they wont take as long to do so this time than they did with the rmx. definitely dont want to replace my dj case.
