heyho,
i want to ask, if there is somewhere a mapping, where i can controll 2 effects on the same time with the jog wheels.
perfekt would be, if i press the jog-wheel the effects turn on, and by tunrinung the jogwheels, i controll them.

if there is not a making, can someone help me, how to map it?

thanks

Anything can be done with some knowledge, time and experimentation. Explaining how exactly to do what you want would be a little complexe.

I would suggest, first reading the Traktor manual regarding the MIDI mapping and configuration to get a basic understanding of how things works. If you really want to get deep into MIDI mapping for Traktor, I would highly suggest investing in the Traktor bible (www.traktorbible.com), a very complete book with tons of examples and additional knowledge and details about the inner working of Traktor.

Thats gonna be tough.
But maybe u can help me a bit.
I can now turn 2 effect on on the same time and I can control the amount of the 2 effects. But they go form 0 to 100 amount and my biggest problem is...the jogwheels still scratch.....

For the amount going from 0 to 100, it is because your control type needs to be set as an Encoder - 7Fh/01h and not a Fader/Knob.

As for the jog still scratching, obviously if they have been assigned to other functions, these will still be active, unless you asign some Modifiers, which will tell Traktor exactly when a certain function should be used or not.

This is obviously the most complicated part to understand and apply (the bible has an entire chapter just for this...).

I Tried now pretty much and its working a bit, but not as wanted.

So I asked myself, if its possbile to buy the Traktor Kontrol S1 and link with the hercules 4-mx and with the computer.

So I controll effects via the traktor control and rest with my controller.

Indeed, it is possible to use multiple controllers in Traktor.

The informations given inthe following article also applies to the new version of Traktor:

So I just need to import the second tsi file and it will work?

More or less. You'll probably have to modify either or both as some double mapping may be present.

I would suggest starting with the 4-Mx TSI and create a new one for the other controller. As you add the functions to the new TSI, you can remove the ones you don't need from the 4-Mx TSI.
