on a machine running windows 7 professional. yesterday i connected a turntable to the rca-input, i checked to maked sure the input switch was set to "phono". i can play records now by enabling playback with mmsys.cpl. i did that by opening mmsys.cpl, navigating to the "recording" tab, selecting the rmx2 as the input device and then configuring its properties. in the "listen" tab of the rmx2 input device properties i checked "listen to this device" and chose the rmx2 as "playback through this device". the setup is fine, the problem is that sporadical pops can be heard on the output. i will try to capture the pops this evening and post a sample here. the pops seem to appear more frequently when the hard disk is in use.
i think this is a driver issue. is there a beta driver fixing this issue?
will a new driver be released any time soon?
