hey guys,i have another question:
i won a apple ipad,
and just wanted to know if its possible to combine it with the air-controller.
Since DJUCED doesn't currently support additional MIDI controllers, about the only way you could get them to work "together" would be to connect them to 2 channels of a mixer as different audio sources (the iPad coud be used as a synth for making interesting noises...).

Other softwares would however allow you to use multiple MIDI controllers.
sorry,you got me wrong,
i wanted to ask if i could use tie ipad instead of a laptop.
if yes,
how do i get the software on to the ipad,
since it has no cd-drive?
You can't. There is no iOS version of DJUCED, and there is no way for the controller to communicate with the iPad.
There are DJ applications available for the iPad though if you want to give them a shot. Check the Apple Store.
Hello,
1) Hardware connection
The way to connect DJ Control Air to an iPad will be to connect DJ Control Air to a USB hub with a power adapter and to connect the USB hub to an iPad camera kit USB adapter.
=> This connection (iPad -> USB hub -> DJ Control Air) makes it possible for iPad to support DJ Control Air.
2) Software
The main iPad DJ software today is DJay for iPad.
Djay for iPad does not include a map for DJ Control Air for the moment.
3) Audio
iOS plays only 1 stereo channel for the moment, not 2 at the same time, so you can use the mix output on DJ Control Air to play the mix, but you will not hear the preview in DJ Control Air headphones output.
