hi all,
i bought the dj control air and installed it in my toshiba satellite laptop (quite old). laptop runs on winxp sp3.
installation went well, and i downloaded latest drivers for the mixer as well as djuced (v1.0.52).
the problem is that i cannot hear from headphones and master at the same time.
when switching to the asio sound card, i only hear from headphones.
when switching to the standard sound card (realtek hd audio), i only hear from the laptop speakers.
i uninstalled and re-installed but it is not resolved.
could someone help?

The program usually comes with the required configurations already made. If this is not the case, open the Control panel of the program and on the first page you should be able to select the sound card and the output channels.
Select Hercules Control Air ASIO (ASIO), while the output options should show 1-2 for master, or speakers, while 3-4 for headphones.
After that you can connect the speakers to the back side of the unit while the headphones to the big 1/4 inch jack located in front. The buttons located near this jack will provide you with what you want to hear in them: CUE to a specific deck (selected through the two buttons located above the volume sliders, having a sign showing a pair of headphones on them) or MIX - what is actualy playing in the speakers.
