Do they work if you test them outside of DJUCED (using the following procedure)?
I'dont see any "port 1" in MIDI Monitor
Also I can't find the "test setup" in Audio/MIDI Setup
No, ok solved my problem with MIDI control, I was stupid not opening "sources" LOL. However no signal at all from volume/pitch/crossfader, etc. Other buttons perfectly working
Correct. It should appear under MIDI sources as "DJ Control AIR" (click the arrow to display it)
Nonetheless, if you use the knobs and buttons, do any of actions are listed in MIDI monitor ?
I don't know if this matters, but it all begin after I re-opened my Macbook. I closed it for about an hour with the controller plugged in (and totally working) and when I opened it no life signs >_>
When I press any of the physical button I get 0/127 as it has to be. No signs with all the other things like loop pads, knobs, crossfader, volumes, etc
Strange...Try this then.
Connect the USB to the computer while holding the FILES and FOLDER buttons on the AIR. This should bring up the Firmware updater.
Follow the unscreen instructions to complete the process, and see if that corrects the problem.
I've done it on OSX and Win 7 both but still same old problem. I really don't know what to do! Yesterday worked very fantastic ;_;
This all seems very odd and not a behavior I've ever seen before.
I would recommend you contact Tech Support and tell them if they could arrange a procedure where you could send your unit to our development team so they can take a look at it , and obviously provide you with a replacement (tell them DJ Phatso from the forum asked you to). It might just be a simple hardware defect, but I'd like this to be investigated if possible.
Ok, I just emailed them, hope they'll answer me soon! But is there a way to do a simple factory reset? Maybe I can try that too XD

I'm facing the same issue. I just bought the DJ control air ( reconditionned i guess because it missed the cd) and everything is working exept fader and bass,mid, treeb button and pad...I tried both mac and pc and also midimonitor.
I tried also to update the firmware with folder/files button hold but this is updating only the audio firmware.
Did you get any update from Hercules? Is there a way to update the controller firmware ?

The controls that are not working are not sending a midi signal, all the buttons that work are. I opened it up to see if loose wire/ribbon cable or something was loose.
I feel it is firmware. I also tried also to update the firmware with folder/files button hold but this is updating only the audio firmware. Tried manual from hardware control panel; can't update the controller firmware? Did you get any update from Hercules? Is there a way to update the controller firmware other than installing the latest drivers. I will call the company, I also sent an email.
