i have recently purchased a hercules dj control air and have a sound issue as follows. when i connect the 3.5mm output on the back of the dj control air to a dual channel audio switch, my speakers buzz loudly. the other channel on the audio switch is from my tv to the same set of speakers.
if i remove the 3.5mm jack from the dj control air and input it directly into my mac, the buzzing stops. unfortunately, this solution is not valid for me because the software which comes with dj control air removes the option to have a separate headphone output through the unit if the master audio channel is not the control air itself.
with the 3.5mm jack back once again in the dj control air port, the buzzing also stops if i remove the tv 3.5mm input from the audio switch. can someone please help me diagnose the root cause of this? essentially, i would like to be able to have both the tv and the dj control air or mac input at the same time into the audio switch, whilst maintaining a separate headphone output from the dj control air.
