hi guys, so far dj control air and djuced are improving better and better.
i have been thinking in buying both rmx-1000 from pioneer and a korg ms1 microsampler and add it to the dj control air, but i dunno if the console is compatible with these equipments.
have anyone tried this before or i just have to arrange everything independently in a console.
thnx in advance
Hi.
The RMX-1000 from Pioneer has been built to work with "analog" equipment in priority. (it's recording the sound to re-arrange them with an ultra-low latency).
The KORG MS1 is an external sampler too.
And the DJ Control Air doesn't have an input so you can't use it as a mixer to use the signals dealt with the RMX-1000 and the Korg MS1.
You'll need to use an external mixer to do that.
The best way for me, is :
- Find a 3 Way stereo Mixer, that have FX Send/return channel in all these 3 stereo ways, for sending/returning the audio with the RMX-1000
- use the DJ Control Air just as a midi controller.
- You'll need a 4 channels soundcard, and use the "deck" mode in DJUCED for exemple (1/2 output for deck A, 3/4 output for deck B)
- in your external mixer, you plug in the 1/2 from your soundcard to a stereo channel, an 3/4 to another
- and use the last way for the Korg MS1
A pretty huge setup...
Yeap, i thought about it the same way u just told me.
I've read the manual about the DJ Control Air and well it doesnt say anything about the USB socket located on the upper part covered with a piece of rubber. I thought that was an input channel and well i might find something to plug it in there.
Do u know what is it?
Victo, i have been reading the manual of the RMX1000 and probably i can use it as an output filter to the sound system after the output of the DJ Control Air.
Check out the third example to connect the RMX1000.

Might have a solution for this...
geez, my bad.. i just saw it once and i thought it was a usb socket.
As u can see i just have been focusing in software stuff.
Sorry about that...
Yes you can use the RMX1000 with the output, the bad is that you can make FX's only on the Mixed signal, not for one track for example, and start the other track without FX...
