i just bought the dj hercules control instinct. the software that came with it works. the table is not being recognized by my computer. when the prompt comes up that tells me to connect "all of the hercules dj products you want to install" i connect the controller. my computer picks it up but it says the driver is not successfully installed. i tried getting my computer to troubleshoot and it says the same thing. "driver not found." i am running on windows 7. i tried updating and restarting from scratch. this is my first time with a dj program or table so bare with me. spent too much money to not have a solution to this.
help?
First of all make sure that you will turn off any security-related programs (anti-spyware, antivirus, firewall...) can interfere with or block an installation.
Disconnect other devices from your computer as well - webcams, printers, external HHD, etc.
Then check the power settings for your USB devices by:
- Open the Device Manager: click Start/Run and enter the following command: devmgmt.msc
- Click the <+> sign to the left of Universal Serial Bus controllers.
- Double-click USB Root Hub and select the Power Management tab.
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
- Validate your choice by clicking OK.
After you have made this change for all <USB Root Hub> entries, restart your computer.
Download and install the "CCleaner" application:

In order to uninstall everything from Hercules you need to click on Tools and while you are there you need to select one at a time each folder that is from Hercules and click Run Uninstaller.
After you need to go to Registry and click on Scan for issues, you wait until the green bar reaches 100% and click on Fix Issues, a window will pop up and will ask you if you want to back-up and you hit No, after that another window will pop up and you need to click on Fix All Selected Issues and Close. Last step will be to click on Cleaner and click on Analyze, again wait till the green bar reaches 100% and click on Run cleaner. Now you can close the Ccleaner and proceed with the rest of the steps.
After that download and install the latest drivers from our support page:

Did all of that. Step by step. When the prompt to connect all of my DJ hercules devices comes up, I plug in the controller and instead of the sound that the computer usually makes when I plug in any USB device, it does a sound that it recognizes that I plugged it in, but it keeps saying "Device Driver software was not successfully installed" in the bottom right task manager. The DJ series control panel is there but is not recognizing that the controller is connected. Can't select a device because there is no device to select.
When I go to my device manager, it shows the controller with a yellow exclamation mark beside it and the only thing I can click is "Troubleshoot". Obviously it doesn't work. Just keeps saying device driver software not found.
