hello
i have my hercules instinct for 6 months now, and for quite some time im struggling with undefined issue with tempo. during the mix (i dunno its soundcard fault, jogs or whatever) song tempo increases alot (even though its not synced or pitch stays untouched) and it sounds like a train going or whatsoever. its so annoying and each time requires to change audio setup in my traktor (v 2.5) to realtek and then again to dj instinct soundcard.
please help!
Do you have the driver up-to-date?
In the traktor program is the BPM increasing with a steady pace or not?
yes i have up do date driver installed. BPM increases rapidly and unexpectedly. So answer is not.

I seem to have the exact same problem with the instinct and virtual DJ.
I have to reload the soundcard to solve it, which is just two clicks, but its really embarrasing during a set.

Can you make sure you have disabled Windows setting to save energy on the USB port?
- Use an administrator account of Windows
- Right click on My Computer > Properties > Device Manager
- Develop USB controller paragraph
- Right click in the first line USB Root Hub and go to properties > tab Power Management > disable the check "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save energy"
- Repeat this last operation on all the other line USB Root hub on this computer.
