i was updating my djuced software to version 1.0.14 when the firmware update encountered the following error:
error updating audio part 0x00400018 (unable to lock asio device) (tusb update)
please advise. thanks in advance.

DJUCED Doesn't include a firmware update....
Are you talking about the DJ Control Air drivers ?
Did you try the last of them ?

This error occurs because the DJ Air is currently being used by DJUCED.
Close the application. Then disconnect the console from the USB port.
Reconnect the console and wait for the Firmware updater to appear again, then proceed to the update.
Once complete, you will be able to launch DJUCED normally.

This 30-minute limit per session occurs when Djuced doesn't detect DJ Control Air.
1) Have you installed DJ Control Air first?
2) Have you the last versions of
- DJ Control Air drivers (Package 2012 HDJS 3 if you are in Windows, and Package 4.24 if you are in Mac OS)
- Djuced: release 1.0.52 here
3) Have you tried
- closing Djuced,
- unconnecting then reconnecting DJ Control Air,
- waiting 30 seconds,
- restarting Djuced?
If yes, does Djuced still limit next session at 30 minutes?
4) Have you disabled Windows setting to save power on the USB bus?
- Right click on My Computer > Properties > Device Manager
- Develop USB controller paragraph
- Right click in the first line USB Root Hub and go to properties > tab Power Management > disable the check "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save energy"
- Repeat this last operation on all the USB ports on this computer.
