i have been trying to figure out if the hercules 4mx has balanced or unbalanced 1/4" mono outputs.  i believe that digitadjtips says they are trs balanced, and so does rebelstarreviews.  but no where in the hercules manual or description does it say the outputs are balanced, also i read somewhere here on the forum where someone said they were actually unbalanced.

So i have the option to plug a 1/4" TS or a 1/4" TRS into the outputs of my 4mx? Also would i have any problems using this cable    http://www.amazon.com/musical-instruments/dp/B000068O1P ? can i plug the dual 1/4" TS mono jacks into the 4-mx master outputs and then plug the 1/4" TRS jack into the 1/4" stereo input of a soundboard or an Amp? I hope i made that not sound too confusing.  Thank you so much for taking the time to reply BTW.

Indeed, but TS and TRS can be use, but the obvious purpose of TRS is to be used when running long cables to prevent interferences.

As for using that spliter cable, most sound mixer or amplifier will individual inputs for left and right, so I'm not sure why you would want to go with this.

Do you have a specific model or type in mind?
