going from virtual dj 8 to 7.4

i did a small gig and decided to use my fully licensed version of virtual dj 7 instead of virtual dj 8.  i bought 2 licenses and keep both shortcuts on my desktop. the asio driver for my rmx2 shows up on vdj8 config but not on vdj 7.  i use my laptop to run two different set-ups. i use a ni audio 2 dj soundcard with a dj control steel for my passive speaker set-up and use the rmx2 for my active speaker set-up. am i doing something wrong?

This could be a long shot, but you mentionned VDJ 7.4.

Do you mean that you are using the latest version (v7.4.6) or litterally v7.4.0, because the Rmx2 was introduced with v7.4.1, so it would make sense that an older version would not automatically detect it.
