as a vinyl and dvs user for years, its definitely different but i really dont have a reference to compare the scratching to. the responsiveness is great though... i guess i just have to get use to it. as far as i can tell,  traktor does not have a crossfader curve adjustment on its internal mixer so quick scratches are none existent as the 4-mx doest have one one the hardware. i havent tried vdj-le yet but i think theres curve adjust on that.

anyway this thing is pretty sick! im going to do a lot travelling over the next few months and the portability of the 4mx is what i was really after. all the extra features are icing on the cake.  if anyone has anymore questions let me know.

hello cyron,

both traktor pro and virtualdj pro have a cross fader curve adjustment, and neither traktor le nor virtualdj 7 le 4-mx have a cross-fader curve adjustment.
but you can open dj console 4-mx control panel, go to the advanced tab, and change the crossfader settings (by default, the curve is set on beatmix), and it works in any software (but if you change the crossfader curve in dj console 4-mx control panel, dont change it also in your dj software, the curve scratch setting would become too extreme).
