hi im using control steel... which im suprise theres no output or headphne jack in this console
can somebody help me set up the console..... i cant previewing the music... is this console much better than the rmx?

The major difference is that the Rmx has a soundcard and the Steel doesn't, so you'll need a soundcard that as at least 2 Stereo outputs.

thanx for the reply. the sound card that u mean is the external soundcard like  numark  stereo IO, am i rite? because really desperate to find the solution.

OR you could use even a usb sound card, on a more lighter note for ur wallet. Serves the purpose of cueing ur tracks on ur headphones. Of course, this is only for those who dj on an amateur level or bedroom dj's . Just a suggestion, like one of these :-

Could I use a USB mixer, like the Alesis iMultiMix 8 the same way as a USB soundcard?  It has one RCA send, two Auxillary sends which are 1/4" jacks left and right, one 1/4" left and one right main mix sends, and the same with control room sends, along with a 1/4" headphone send.  It uses ASIO for playback and recording through USB.  Help??

The Alesis iMultiMix 8 actually won't work. It is only seen as a standard stereo (2 Inputs/ 2 Ouputs) soundcard.
