headphone preview not working in virtualdj le

hi

ive a hercules dj 4set, and downloaded the virtual dj le software.  i cant get sound through the headphones to preview the next track, whilst the main track is playing through the main speakers

it is a laptop im using. can anyone help please

First, verify that the audio configuration in Virtual DJ is as follow:

Input: None or Microphone

Outputs: Headphones

Soundcard: Hercules DJ4Set

Then, make sure to connect your speakers to the back of the DJ4Set, and your headphone to the front output and everything should normally work.
