hello mo,
each time you ask a technical question, please start by describing
1 - your configuration
(for example:
- laptop - dell inspiron 17 - cpu: intel core i5 - windows 7 - 4 gb ram
- dj software: virtualdj 5.2.2 djc edition, no use of virtualdj pro trial version
- dj console rmx drivers: 2010_hdjs_2)
2 - your connections
(for example:
- dj console rmx connected directly in the laptop (not through a powered usb hub)
- active speakers - 2 basic 100 from db technologies, connected on dj console rmx jack 1/4 output 1-2
- heaphones: pioneer hdj-1000 connected on dj console rmx headphones output on the top panel (not on the front panel)
3 - your software setting
if you are in virtualdj 5.2.2 djc, there is no setting, but if you are in virtualdj pro (trial version or unlimited version), we need to know your sound setup options
(for example:
- inputs: none
- outputs: headphones
- sound card: dj console rmx
- apply eq on external inputs activated
- master: chan 1&2 / headphones : chan 3&4
4 - your actions on the rmx
a) have you set the monitor button on cue?
b) to preview deck b in the headphones, did you push (and light up) the button cue select on deck b.
5 - the result
you write "my headphones dont do that", but it is not enough, what do you get in the headphones.
