was just wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives to the traktor f1 and novation launchpad that i could use along side with my dj controller instinct? but still do a decent job.

It depends on
- what you want to do (which operation in which software)
- if you are ready to edit your own MIDI map
- which features you look for.
If you look for a clone of Traktor F1, Behringer will release sort of clones called CMD-DC1 and CMD-LC1 soon.
I don't think you will find cheaper controllers than Novation Launchpad with as many keys.
