i just spend $350 on the hercules dj console rmx and i have fruity loops 9 producer edition. i cannot get my console o work with it no matter what i do! can someone help?

Fruity Loops is a Music Production Software, so there's not midi mapping with the 4-MX, because FL9 is not a DJing software.
You can find midi 4-MX midi mappings for Traktor and Virtual DJ.
However, you can build a personnal Midi Mapping in the Midi Settings of Fruity Loops anyway, because the 4-MX in a standart midi-controller.
And in the Audio Settings, you can use the ASIO Audio of the 4-MX instead of the PC's soundcard for a Best audio Result on Fruity, be sure to have installed the last audio drivers for your 4-MX. (find it there : http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=17&fid=62&pid=263&cid=1 )
