i have a problem with my rmx it only works as sound card but not as controller when i open my vdj. all the lights are flashing none stop. i did the manual firmware update following the manual posted on one of the topic on this site, the hardware updates normal, but the lights never stops flashing. it never gets recognized as midi controller.
im using mac book, your help will be highly appreciated.
all the lights flash like you would when you first plug it in correct? then they keep flashing? correct. did you try uninstalling everything and doing a fresh install. and see if that helps
yes flash as soon as i plug it, then they keep flashing while the rmx is working as sound card. i channel my audio out through it and works fine but as mentioned earlier , never stop flashing. i uninstalled everything , re-installed but nothing works,,,please help i dont want to use this console as sound card i need it for vdj.
is there anything extra i need to install after installing this pack: hercules® dj series drivers for mac osx 10.4.x, osx 10.5.x and osx 10.6.x - release 2.22 ?
do i need a midi mapper to make work with vdj?
theres a new mac driver 2.45 but that shouldnt matter. thats weird cause i use a mac and i just did everything the directions said and it worked perfectly fine. and i actually tried to see if i could maniulate what your console is doing but i couldnt. i keep looking for ya man.
