i have a hercules 4 mx with vdj. when im playing music, suddenly the quality of the music is bad. the music sounds like its coming out of blown out speakers. it makes a cracking sound. when i close the software and open it up again, the music goes back to normal but as im playing the cracking sound returns after a little while. any ideas what this may be. can you help?
1) Apply the changes explained in this guide:

2) Before launching VDJ, go to the DJ Control Panel and switch to ASIO audio mode.
In the ASIO tab, you'll see that the ASIO buffer Size is set to 10 ms. This default value may not be appropriate for your system. Raise or lower this value by 1 step at a time. Test with VDJ for a while, and if necessary, repeat this operation until you find the correct setting for your computer.

I'm having the same issue with traktor 2 Pro.....I tryed lots of configurations, but the problems persist.
Let me know how you do to fix the problem, when it occurs off course....even the problem is on the hardware I need to know to send the unit to repair or change.
If I have some news I'll put a feedback here as well.
