hercules control air doesnt work with virtual dj

hello guys,

i have recently bought an control air and i wanted to try him with virtual dj.
i followed all the required steps and when i push apply and ok, my virtual dj just does nothing...
i dont know what the problem is and i was hoping somebody could help me.
