Can you be a little more specific about what happen when yo try to install the Trim on your computer ?

Do you get any error messages ?

Have you followed these installation instructions ?

ok, i would install the trim just like the manual said ut when i get to the installation of the dj trim detection window it says that it would take a few minutes then a second later it would finish NO ERROR then i get the dj icon with a big red x then i get the message when my hardware tries to install the trim; device not reconized idk why that happens, i have tried countless times

The power supply was connected to the Trim when you attempted these installations ?

Have you tried without the power supply connected ?

Are the LEDs lighting up when turning On the unit ?

I'm guessing you've tried all the USB ports and another USB cable ?

Do any of the components appear in device manager ?

i tried with the power supply, with out it, the leds do light, yes i did try all of them and no device in the manager, but its weird that the usb ports work for the trim, i plugged my external hdd and it works on the trim, idk what im doing wrong

If the HUB hub of the Trim is recognize by the computer, then it could be that one of the cables used internally to link the different boards is not connected properly, which could explain why the soundcard compoponent is not being seen.

I think a replacement unit would be in order.
