who could help me with the following, hopefully minor issue that i have:
new deejay trim is connected with windows 7 pc.
in traktor scratch pro i have sound but it is scrambled.
traktor audio device setup recognizes only a:"usb audiodevice 2in, 2 out (wasapi) (shared mode)"
my question is: why is my output scrambled and is this the right device that traktor finds ?

1) the proper setting for traktor with windows 7 would be asio:
- switch your deejay trim in asio mode (on deejay trim control panel) prior to starting traktor,
- once in traktor, select deejay trim asio sound device,
- in traktor, select output 1-2 as main output and output 3-4 as preview.
2) if the sound is scrambled, make sure your have enough cpu ressources: disable the wifi from the computer, disconnect internet & network access while mixing, and comply with the computer setting guidelines posted here.

all works fine now, did not knew the difference between asio and wdm.

the last version of traktor pro also supports wdm multi-channel sound cards, so if you have traktor pro 1.2.7 you can see all the outputs of deejay trim 4&6 even in wdm, and assign the monitoring on output 3-4 and the master on output 1-2 , but as the performance in asio is generally better with shorter response times, it still makes sense to use asio rather than wdm on real time music software as traktor pro.
