hercules dj console mk2

i hope someone can help me please..

i have updated firmware of my hercules dj mk2 using latest software from hercules site 2014_hdjs_1.exe.
i have followed the instructions.
the first problem is that firmware version v16 (eg  mk2_tusb_v16) was not available in the firmware folder after software was installed on pc. the only available mk2 software to select was mk2_tusb_f.
after i updated my panel using  this firmware , my panel is no longer  reconised by xp or win 8.1.that makes the panel completely useless.
i have tried downgrading the software to the 2013 (v15) firmware but impossible because the hercules panel is no longer being  reconized by a pc.
is there a way to force the firmware?...

please help
