Hi mOnkata,

Effectively the DJ Console Rmx as a sound card inside.

The main diffrences between the DeeJay Trim 4&6 and the Rmx sound card is:

- Preamplifiers on the 2 stereo inputs wich allow you to use a large variety of vinyl tuntables and CD players and adjust easily the input level
- Vumeters on Inputs / Outputs: vu meters can display either inputs level or output level (switch selectable). It allows you to set easily and visually the input and output sound levels
- 4In/4Out or 2In/6Out audio mode. the 4/4 mode is the common one used in DJing but you can use also a 2/6 mode in order to add a 3rd stereo output to use with an external mixer and add effects on it.
-USB Hub: the DeeJay Trim has a usb hub integrated so you can plug your external hadr drive, usb key or DJ Controller directly on it. This can clean up sometime your DJ setup

Hi mOnkata,

When you say that you need midi in/out to produce music with Ableton, does it mean that you have a keyboard and/or a midi instrument that is not usb but has only a midi in/out connector?

no , the midi is with usb connection , i meant that if the sound card doesn't have midi in/out like Audio 4 DJ can do producing music and connect other way (not with the midi in/out way)
