hi guys,
i recently purchased a dj console rmx and i was wondering if i could have the master out play on my laptop and use the console headphone jack at the same time. ive read that the hardware comes preconfigured for vdj to only use the hercules soundcard but i was wondering if there was any way to change that?
my current audio set up is:
sometimes when i use mine it happens randomly just cant tell ya how. im sure someone can help you out for sure!
keep your current audio configuration set to the rmx, and run a wire from the main output 1/2 to the line input of your laptop.
enable the stereo mix so that the input signal comes through to the speakers , and voilà!
using multiple soundcards for the audio configuration of a software (when possible) is always risky because the cards may not want to "collaborate" together, which in turn, might create more headaches for you...
