so ive been dismantling my djcontrol air s in order to take out a faulty (possibly just dirty) right volume fader. however to do that, i need to remove the large circuit board from the back of the controller. and to remove that circuit board, i need to remove the eq knobs. this is the step that im stuck at. with most other controllers, you can just simply pull them out and proceed. however with my one, no matter how hard i pull on them, i cant get them off. ive unscrewed every screw that i could find and disconnected the headphone jack and the crossfader. is there any way to get the eq knobs off without breaking the mechanism?

Hello LanCeeXD,

My cap remover is a nylon pry bar or crowbar as this type of tools:

I have also seen people use metal crowbar/prybar as the following one, but a nylon tool is better as nylon will not damage the controller top panel while a metal crowbar car may scratch the surface or the paint of the controller.

Some people also use bike tire levers to remove caps, but it is not as convenient.
