is it possible to remove it? i use that console for scratching and the jogwheel is too close to the crossfader which means that there is not enough space for my hand on the fader. help me if you can. thanks 🙂

Hello,

Please precise the nature of the problem:
While scratching with external control (turntable or CD jog wheels) and Mk2 crossfader, you hit DJ Console Mk2 jog wheels and
a) it damages your mix as DJ Console Mk2 jog wheels send commands you didn't want,
b) it is unpleasant as you lack space to use the crossfader.

If you are in situation a, you can disable Mk2 jog wheels in a pro software (I suppose you have a pro software if you scratch).
If you are is situation b,  you can remove the jog wheels in pulling them off their attachement shaft (no need to unassemble the console, it just requires a strong effort), but
- you will lose the warranty (if your Mk2 is still under warranty) as it changes the product,
- you may be unable to insert the jog wheel on the shaft afterwards,
- I suggest adding a film over to jog wheel holes, to protect DJ Console Mk2 from anything which might fall inside DJConsole Mk2 (dust, liquid...).

Hello Parmen,

I think pulling the jog wheels out is an easy solution, and it is not destructive.
