hi ive had the mk4 for over a week now and never got it to play more than a minute of a single track before it
1 distorts
2 cpu goes thru the roof
3 music stutters
4 both decks stop all fuctions freeze although there is no music the on screen graphics show it is still running
on a shut down and resart it all works fine
software is vurtual dj le that came with it
pc spec is
pent 4 1 gb ram(old pc most it can have)
have done the dpc latency check all ok and says i should have no probs with streaming real time audio/video
if however i use traktor the cpu is much less but the tsi file doesnt make any buttons work any help would be great

1) Do you apply the following settings before starting VirtualDJ ?
a) Switch off the wifi (it doesn't mean only you should not browse in Wifi while mixing, it means you should disable the wifi on your Windows computer while mixing): if you need wifi while mixing, you must change for Mac OS, since Windows wifi scanning is too CPU intensive.
b) Disable Windows USB power saving (a setting which cuts the power on the USB)

2) For the tsi file which makes no button work in Traktor, can you check in your Mk4 control panel if the MIDI channel is set on 1? What is your version of Traktor?
