the problem i seem to be having is when i go from left to right or vice versa on the crossfader, the volume just drops drastically in the middle point while im mixing the 2 songs together. all the volume bars are up at the same level. does anyone know if i have to change a setting on the config? i had an ion icue and it never gave me this problem.

It is a software setting, so it depends of the software you use.
If you use VirtualDJ Pro (standard full version or 20-day test version), you should
- go in Config > Options
- change the crossfader setting for "Smooth".
