i installed the latest drivers of hercules dj console rmx (4.6.3.0) and i have a serious problem since then.virtual dj gets stucked for a few seconds when i load one or two songs, or by pressing play or stop.im sure that the drivers have problem because i tested it to my p.c. and then to my notebook which was working perfect before installing the new drivers (tested in virtual dj 5.1, 5.2.2 and 6.0.1).
i asked for the driver version 3.8.0.0 at hercules but they didnt answer me yet and i need it immediately.
so has anyone got the driver version 3.8.0.0 to send me?
thanks in advance!!

hello gorgio,

i doubt the latest drivers have anything to do with the problem you meet, i suppose you may have changed either

1) a computer setting : restoring the wifi, letting an internet access, activating an antivirus...,
2) the rmx asio buffer size or asio step (it must be 16-bit for virtualdj): then you can restore your previous asio buffer size
3) the drive on which the music files are loaded: either the drive unit is different, or it lacks free space for the audio file to uncompress
4) a setting in virtualdj pro 6.0.1: it can change also the same setting in virtualdj djc 5.2.2.

if you can check these 4 points, and if you are sure it is none of these 4 settings, then send me an invitation on the private message system so that i can email you the address of an ftp where you can download the previous rmx drivers.

hello djgorgio,

please check what has changed in your computer setting: of course installing a new driver can change several settings, as the asio buffer size, so if you dont recheck all the settings each time you install any driver or software, your computer is not optimized, and it is normal it is slow. installing any drivers or software can change a lot of settings than you imagine, so if you dont take the time to recheck the critical settings just because you believe you did not change them manually, your computer will be slower than it should be.

i have sent you by private message the link to the drivers 2009_hdjs_1 package, which doesnt mean i agree with you: i dont believe it will solve your problem, you must check the asio setting (it is part of the driver installation, so of course installing a new driver may have changed it) , and the other settings i have listed.
