i have a hercules console rmx and a surface pro 4. i want to use hercules rmx on my sp4.
i tested it and thats works but i saw on hercules support that hercules rmx must be connected on a hub usb powered.
is it obligatory to works fine ?

The USB hub is not necessary in your case.
As Surface Pro 4 has standard USB 3.0 ports, you can connect DJ Console Rmx directly to these USB 3.0 ports without placing a USB hub between the tablet and the controller.
The reason why Hercules Support recommends placing a USB hub powered by a power adapter between the tablet and the DJ controllers is that most tablets provide not enough USB bug power to power the DJ controllers, but as Surface Pro 4 has not this limit, you do not need the powered USB hub, unless you have not enough USB ports.
