one year ago i bought my rmx2 console. its great, and i realy enjoy using it with vdj7. the only thing i dont like, is when im playing realy loud, the sound is not coming out very clear. at the same volume, my codj gets crystal sound, by using his pionner ergo (same laptop, and we gave each other the same songs to play). so, heres the question. can i use my rmx2 only as a controller for vdj7, and use an external sound card (maya44, or creative x-fi 5.1) for music playback? if yes, then whats the setup i need to do about it.

What do you mean exactly by "the sound is not coming out very clear"?
Can you define how you know that the Rmx2 and DJ Ergo are outputing at the same volume ?
What components you use for audio or MIDI controls if always up to you and will be defined by the configuration made in the software (unless you are using the LE version of VDJ which will only work for hardware it was provided with).
