hercules universal dj problem

hello!

so yesterday my controller was working fine, and all that, but today when i plugged it in my pc, i had trouble with: cue, sync, and play/pause bottons. they wont work at all, but lights up when i plug it in, and it does the light show when starting up.

so i was wondering what could the problem be, ive tried to reinstall the software, the drivers, but nothing works.

1) Please complete your technical configuration profile as described on

In My Space > My Profile,  in the field "Describe your equipment", write

  • version of Windows or macOS as Windows 11 22H2
  • version of DJConsole Series driver package (as 2023_HDJS_2)
  • USB : as USB type A, or USB-C, or USB Hub (as D-Link DUB-H7 USB hub+power)
  • DJ software version as Djuced 6.0.2
If you cannot write in your profile the following pieces of information:

  • version of Hercules DJ driver (for example 2023_HDJS_2)
  • version of Windows (for example Windows 11 22H2)
  • version of DJUCED software (for example Djuced 6.0.2),

please check if someone can find these pieces of information to complete your technical profile.

2) Then 5 easy questions: 

  • Do you use the USB cable delivered with Universal DJ?
  • Is the switch on the rear panel of Universal DJ set on Laptop Mode (Blue)?
  • Has switching On and Off the Scratch Mode (key on top left of rotary browser knob) any impact on your issue? 
  • Is a track loaded on the deck where you have press on keys Play, Cue, Sync?
  • If you use a recent version of Djuced, can you check in Djuced > Settings > Mapping if the Universal DJ mapping is use in not a Deck 3 and 4 mapping?
