i have the steel conrolar , could some one help me plz , i cant mix like that i hear the song in the headphones and in the external speakers in the same time , i need to hear it in the headphones first then the speakers or i hear one song in the headphone and the other song in the speakers ,,,, thx
do u mean your hearing the same song thats being played on the speakers in your headphones? if so u see on the top right of your controller where it the headphone emblem is right below where it says steel on the right hand side. theres a knob next to that volume of your headphones on one side says cue and the other mix. if you move it to cue you will hear the song that your gonna mix into the song playing and if you move it to mix you will hear the song thats already playing. if you move it half way between the cue and mix you will hear both tracks at once. if this doesnt clarify please let me know
in order to use the headphone previewing mode with virtual dj, you need a real 4-channel, 5.1 or 7.1 sound card.
the 5.1 sound card you may use need separate front and rear plugs for these channels, as:
- hercules muse pocket lt3
- terratec aureon 5.1 mk2 usb
- soundblaster xfi surround 5.1 pro
or other usb sound cards with 5.1 ou 7.1 separate plugs for front / rear / sub-center speakers
