right i have been trying all week to get the sound through my head phones so i can cue the next trak but i cant and there is no sound cuming through channel 3 and 4 i have it all set up right but no one no how to sort this out and it is in 16 bit mode can any one help as i have had it and i am goining to send it back

if you dont describe you software, computer, software settings and actions, nobody can help you.
if you want to use a dj gear, you should be able to describe
- the software (name, release and version) you use, and your audio settings in this software if it is not virtualdj djc 5,
- your computer configuration (completely, cpu, ram, operating system, servce pack, drivers on the rmx,...)
- whether you are in wdm or in asio mode
- where you connect your headphones (is it on an external mixer, is it on dj console rmx headphones output on the top panel, is it on dj console rmx heaphones output on the front panel?)
- what you simply do to preview (do you select the channel to preview with the cue select button ? is your headphones cue-to-mix button set on cue)?
i suppose you didnt contact hercules the tech support, otherwhise
- your problem would probably be solved,
- at least, you would have understood complaining on a forum without giving any technical detailed explanation is useless.
so, if you want to be helped, you should
- read the manuals (hercules dj console rmx manual and your software manual (if your dj software is virtualdj djc 5, the manual is on http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=2&fid=28&pid=215&cid=6)
- detail your configuration description, to explain what you plug where,
- make your message more efficient (its text is painful to read it as it lacks punctuation, it lacks any technical information, and the conclusion "and i am goining to send it back" means you want no help: if you return the console, you need no help).
