whenever i seem to try to play a song from master output, it always skips or has popping noises. i have tested the cable before and it works flawlessy. this also happens with headphones.

Hello,
1) When a USB audio sound skips and makes popping noise, the most likely explanation is a bad computer configuration with not enough CPU left. If your computer operates in Windows, please check the Windows setting guidelines here.
2) As any user on this forum with a technical question, please complete your profile on My Space > My Profile
- in "Hercules Equipment In Use", select DJControl Inpulse 500
- in "Software In Use", check the name(s) of your DJ software
- in "Describe your equipment", describe your computer
- brand and model
- CPU
- RAM
- Type of USB port
- Environment (eg. Window 10 64-bit)
- version of DJ software (eg. Djuced 5.1.1)
- version of DJ driver (eg. 2020_HDJS_1)
3) And as you talk of an audio issue, please preceise whether you have selected the audio device in WASAPI or in ASIO (in case you use the software Djuced).
